well I found it elegant :-) as it's the same kind of escaping, but either way is fine for me. Btw. Have you ever got a & generated from the kern, it consistently recognizes 'Z' on my side :-(? Btw2. I still do not receive mailing list messages, although the web interface indicated I'm subscribed, and I explicitly unsubscribed and re-subscribed. I'll try with another account later.
