Isn't the output files safe for parallell builds? BTW. I've seen that the CMake Wiki has scripts to convert from auto* tools as well as from MS project files.... - not tried yet, but curious what might come out with this: http://www.cmake.org/Wiki/CMake#automake.2Fautotools.2Fautoconf
