I am fairly certain libcurl does not cache these things. Maybe you could try doing `ls' from a command-line ftp client and notice the sizes/timestamps, then try `ls' again (using the same login session) after changing the file externally, to see if the size and timestamp are updated immediately or not. - Jeff
