I agree. If that is in fact the same exception we already use there's nothing new and we should be fine with more macros using the same one. I'm sorry I caused the extra noise by not catching this myself.
BTW - I'm importing curl into git and will see about maintaining a regularly updated mirror of it for everyone's use. That way, we can officially keep using CVS until the power of distributed revision control seduces Daniel.
