No. From a Texinfo source, directly or indirectly, we can
build Info,  HTML, PS, DVI, Docbook and  custom XML outputs;
manual pages are not supported because the structure of the
source is completely different. I understand that people
are accustomed to manual pages, which are a portable format,
while Texinfo may not be readily available on all the
platforms; so the transition to Texinfo would raise some
user dissatisfaction.

  Anyway, I will try to allocate some time to do the port,
because one of the characteristics of my packages is good (I
hope) documentation in Texinfo format; I want to distribute
my cURL binding along with good cURL documentation. I would
like to know if someone here is interested in being
beta-reader for the result, which would help me a lot.

Fine, I see it.
