You're seeing this leak when running on Solaris or on other operating
systems? It's a pity there's no valgrind for Solaris...
to close this issue: with the new libcurl version (7.20), the memleak we
were seeing in the test program is gone.
We're still seeing a few leaks in the application, which I'll follow up
about here should I believe it's related to curl.
