Not sure if I understand ... but the license sounds clear to me. Nor
authors, neither copyright holders are responsible for any damage caused
by any curl usage. It's completely your responsibility and your decision
of what is safe and what is not.
it sounds more to me that he asks some general questions, and seems to
be a really nice guy who cares a lot (may be too much) if he can harm a
remote server ...
