Do this and curl will generate a sample C program for you: curl --ntlm -u : http://sharepoint.domain.com/path/to/file.txt --libcurl example.c (i.e. just add a "--libcurl filename.c" on the end of the curl command.) But perhaps the versions of the curl library that you downloaded do not have NTLM support compiled in.
