Not to be rude, but are you sure you tried 1.3.1? It only just came

I'm on their mailing list and I svn up'ed after the announcement and I
tried to connect to several "normal" HTTPS sites using axTLS and failed...
at least with 1.2.7 I found a '#define CONFIG_X509_MAX_CA_CERTS 2' in
the default config.h - I've not checke deeper, but from the name I would
assume that we need to increase this to at least 150 since our usual
recent ca-bundle.crt holds 140 ca certs.
