I certainly did not. I just scratched an itch. Then people starting appearing from everywhere using it, and helping me out with code and providing good advice and then... it turned out to this. You guys tricked me into this!! =)
curl is kind of my life mission. I was 27 years old back then when I started this and I'm turning 43 this year. While I've been caring for curl all these years I've married, moved into a house, gotten two kids, changed employer twice and started my own company... but I've stayed with curl as my life has developed.
Some 10,000 hours later, I still spend an average of more than one hour per day working on curl...
Now, back to our regular programming. I'm doing this rather larger HTTP test server CONNECT handling overhaul and it makes my head spin...
