Unknown protocol error is so vague as to offer little clue at all to what
the source of the error is. If it had even hinted in some way that the
issue could be an insecure cipher suite, it could have saved us several
hours of debugging. There is no way for curl to throw back an error when an
insecure cipher suite is encountered in the handshake?
Not to my knowledge. But I'm not an expert on OpenSSL, feel free to research
this and see if you can come up with an improvement!
