Fabian's workaround seems to also resolve the test failure I have been experiencing on Mac OS 10.8.5 (XCode 4.6.3). To be rigorous I am qualifying if this small delay causes any build or functional behavior change we can detect.
It's curious how this little delay makes the test pass. It does not seem to address the root cause (if any) from the thread about FreeBSD issue Fabian mentioned. May I know if there is any associated bug thread to track this issue down?
