Puzzling. I've successfully run the test suite numerous times on my local machine (with and without valgrind) and it also ran fine on travis-ci on github before I merged.
Can anyone repeat the crash and/or get some stack traces of it happening? I can of course revert the change to get us rolling again but as I can't repeat the problem here I'll have a hard time to fix it for a second landing anyway!
