BTW, you've merged changes with ENABLE_INET_PTON recently. Perhaps we should
play with this switch to set correct define for _WIN32_WINNT.
Good idea. I've now pushed a version to the PR that attempts this.
Also, your comment made me realize the ENABLE_INET_PTON commit actually make
inet_pton() not get detected on non-windows platforms so I fixed that mistake
as well while at it.
