Could you give me a little more context? (All I got was the quoted mail, I
am not subscribed to the mailing list...)
Also, as Michael seemed to be unable to build already 55.0 (which does *not*
have that commit), there must be something else bad going on.
This issue turned out to be a zlib + openssl conflict we seem to have fixed
now since https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/2074 landed. I don't think there's
much needed for that particular problem anymore.
