Are you sure? This function has been around forever and is well covered
by testing on curl_easy_setopt, which is just a thin shim around it
anyway.
Yes: I still think a basic test of the function would be good. To make sure it
works as claimed - as this is done run on many platforms and thus it verifies
that things are setup correctly to provide this new public API.
