Hello, We have two https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/8986 imap: Fallback to the LOGIN command when the AUTHENTICATE command fails
and https://github.com/curl/curl/pull/8659 Added detection of custom FETCH and UID FETCH commands for IMAP The first fixes an issue we have with clients not being able to login: https://github.com/curl/curl/issues/8979 And the second one is needed to better provide a download of emails via CURL without marking them as read. We would really like to move both forward for the current/next feature window to be included in a curl release. So we could adjust our projects and finally deliver the fixes in fall.
