The latest updates have made things worse for me, it just locks up at boot time unless I put back calling i915drm_attach_framebuffer after interrupts are enabled. I think this is because the display is generating an error at this point, I get this in the dmesg: Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: render error detected, EIR: 0x00000010 Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: page table error Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: PGTBL_ER: 0x00000100 Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: DRM error in i915_report_and_clear_eir: EIR stuck : 0x00000010, masking Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: render error detected, EIR: 0x00000010 Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: page table error Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: PGTBL_ER: 0x00000100 Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: i915drmkms0: framebuffer at 0xdae15000, size 800x 480, depth 32, stride 3200 Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: wsdisplay0 at i915drmkms0 kbdmux 1: console (defa ult, vt100 emulation), using wskbd0 Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0 Apr 26 16:46:34 eeepc /netbsd: drmkms0: info: registered panic notifier Robert Swindells
