Maybe slightly off-topic, but has anyone tried setting up their own personal
cloud and running NetBSD in it under the antsle device?

It claims to be designed for the developer but may not have the power to run
virtual machines for a production environment. But they’re introducing new
models next month that have upgraded Xenon CPUs. If one has a good internet
connection it seems like it could be a good alternative to paying someone for
access to their cloud setup. If course if most of the use is a home then a good
internet connection may not be a big requirement. It is Linux based but
supports running LXC and well as KVM setups and they even have a preconfigured
setup for running FreeBSD. They’ve even got a setup and license available for
running Windows and claim in their FAQ that it is possible to run Mac OS X in
it.
