ah yes - i forget how the overlaps between radeon and amdgpu are and this one should be (only) in radeon as 'radeonsi'. can you try installing TAHITI_vce.bin and seeing what happens? it seems unlikely to be the problem. https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/radeon if this doesn't help, we'll have to see what is up in Mesa. .mrg.
