On my "production" amd64 system running 9.99.42, if I log in on the
console as root I get one log message:
Mar 2 07:40:40 login: ROOT LOGIN (root) on tty constty
However, if I creatae a 9.99.48 vm using qemu, I get two messages!
Mar 2 15:21:23 login: ROOT LOGIN (root) on tty constty
Mar 2 15:21:23 login: ROOT LOGIN (root) ON constty
Note also the subtle difference - the additional message has done
the equivalent of s/on tty//ON/
:)
Both systems have the following in /etc/ttys:
console "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" vt100 off secure
constty "/usr/libexec/getty Pc" vt100 on secure
It's obviously not a big problem, just something I noticed.
