I wonder if this has the same root as .. https://syzkaller.appspot.com/bug?id=ada8326eeb74dd1bab60e8677adacd95afb04ce7 .. which has been around for a while, but due to small changes in the pmap it now goes down the path with the assertion more readily. I don't see the problem but will look in depth this weekend. Thank you, Andrew
