Thanks Maya for the explanation and the status link. I've been thinking of trying -current and a snapshot seems the best way to start. My two machines are both amd64, probably the most common architecture. Right now I have a nice MBR whole disk install of NetBSD 9.0 on the older 2014 HP Pavilion that works great, but I get restless. Now to figure out where to install a current snapshot. Thanks, Clay
