Following a suggestion, I carried over a few tests with DEBUG and LOCKDEBUG enabled. This did not make any difference; starting a 64-bit Linux guest still hard-locks the machine; starting a 32-bit Windows 10 guest keeps it sort-of alive, responding to pings and able to switch between tmux windows, but no further i/o is possible; in this case one is able to go into the debugger and initiate a dump, which then failed for me after the first output line. > > > -- > ---- -- ----
