Not sure of definition of notebook vs laptop - I got a Dell Latitude 7300 when it was the current model in 2020 (so not that long ago!) and use it daily running NetBSD-current. The only "glitch" you already know about(!): https://mail-index.netbsd.org/current-users/2022/07/21/msg042712.html and it rarely manifests itself, as often there is either cpu load, or a video running, oh, and I use a USB wifi dongle.
