If you do Preferences>Fonts&Colors>Display resolution>Other in Firefox
you get a rule on the screen that allow you to set a "correct" (?) DPI
setting. Actually you should try to force the DPI setting to 96 in
Firefox and see the difference. Well I reverted the changes I did on
global.css but it may be possible to see the difference on other web
sites.

I see the difference directly in the preference menus. Forcing the correct DPI setting has the same effect that using System default, so no changes at all. Forcing to an incorrect value (like 72) shrinked my fonts in an horrible way.
