While you're at it, I'd like to suggest the following:
- remove the warning in NOTES about AIO being unstable / unsafe; it
is no longer true (you may want to double-check with jasone, who
added the warning in the first place)
That comment is positively ancient. IIRC, I put it in shortly before
the 4.0 release, because simple AIO use would cause panics. Whatever
the current state of AIO, surely the comment no longer applies in its
original sense.
