FreeBSD ports repository
Modified files:
net-im/pidgin Makefile pkg-plist
Log:
Remove the NLS hooks I missed in the initial commit. NLS support is
required.
Why is it required? The pidgin authors added the ability to disable it
in 2.7, and it works fine with it disabled.
Given that glib/gtk+ ports generally require NLS, I did not want to
further complicate Pidgin. I am requiring it for simplicity.
For those of us who don't need NLS, not having it whenever possible is
"simplicity." :)
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that people who need it have the
opportunity to see things in their native languages, and I'd never want
to take that away. But for those of us who don't, smaller libs/binaries
+ less dependencies are good things. I hope you'll reconsider.
