It looks like it cannot be built if an older version of it is installed on the system. I did not dig any deeper than this, but: - on two machines - the build failed when linking "helloworld" (which is apparently a part of the build) - when I pkg_deleted the [old] installed version - I was succesfully able to build it - on both machines So it does not look to be a fluke.
