for me it looks like USE_PHP has to be set in the Makefile?
root@avocado pear-Horde_Nls> make -VPHPBASE
root@avocado pear-Horde_Nls> make -VPHPBASE USE_PHP=yes
/usr/local
root@avocado pear-Horde_Nls>
Because with GEOIP enabled:
===> Installing for pear-Horde_Nls-1.1.5
===> pear-Horde_Nls-1.1.5 depends on file: /lib/php//geoip.so - not found
===> Verifying reinstall for /lib/php//geoip.so in
/usr/ports/net/pecl-geoip
Look at the library path of where it tries to find geop.so - PHPBASE
is undefined.
