not to pick on you specifically Daniel, but this is a really cool API for debugging, why not support it? I mean, perhaps we add a pid arg to it? But I mean, there's no generation count for kill(2) (which could take one) to protect things, so why is this such a horrible thing? I can someone give a real reason for not liking it other than 1) it came from linux. 2) we didn't think of it. 3) supporting it is annoying.
