Did you mean to commit 1.71 of CgClosure.lhs? It breaks things, and doesn't look related to the rest of the commit.

I was playing around with changing the way that CAFs are represented to improve code size (to reduce the amount of boilerplate code that is generated over and over again for every CAF) in the same tree. Doesn't really seem to be worth the effort to get it working, though.
