MERGE TO STABLE
This commit fixes a nasty problem discovered by Volker Stolz.
The problem is described in Note [Multiple instantiation] in
TcExpr, which is reproduced below.
(Core Lint identifies the problem, incidentally.)
tc200 is a test case.
