Yay! Thanks very much. I've never used a nightly snapshot of GHC before, but if I grab one tomorrow will it have this ability in it?
So it's not quite as simple as just calling two functions :-) I'm happy to take suggestions as to whether any of the extra code can be incorporated into compileToCore so that the user doesn't have to invoke it separately
As long as I don't have to write it (i.e. I can steal yours) it doesn't matter at all. I'm entirely happy with that amount of "boilerplate", since I'm going to only have exactly one program that uses it.
