I'll admit that this is an issue that concerns only Debian.  Still, I
would like to make a request regarding the copy of GNU MP library that
you're distributing along with GHC itself.

I know that you're already seeking for an alternative for it (partly)
due to the LGPL license that it uses.  LGPL is ok from Debian's POV,
but there's another licensing choice in it that hurts Debian.  Its
documentation is licensed under GFDL, with invariant sections.  That's
not ok for Debian.  With it, I need to repackage the GHC distribution
tarball to remove libgmp from it and append "+dfsg1" to GHC's version
number, to mark what I did.

It's not significant, from a technical point of view, but it's still
ugly and bothersome.  Could you please remove the doc/ directory from
the copy of GMP that you're distributing along with GHC?  I wouldn't
need to do any of this that way.
