It's a regression in 6.12.2 - building with 6.12.1 works. Unfortunately,
we hadn't realised it was a regression before making the release. Ticket
is here: http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/ticket/4003
Workaround just committed, so we can now build with 6.12.2.
