We'd like to keep attributions out-of-band, so that the code is easier
to read.
There are two ways we do attribution. One is in version control logs,
although in this case I think the history got lost 2 or 3 version
control systems ago. The other is on
http://hackage.haskell.org/trac/ghc/wiki/Contributors
which I've just tweaked to clarify that it covers core libraries too,
and added a note "(including work on many core libraries, originally for
hbc)" to your entry. Please feel free to further alter it as
appropriate.
