  * Replace the use of Prelude.lex with a new proper parser in Text.Parse.

  The behaviour of 'word' should be basically the same, except for better
  error reporting.  Some known deviations:
    * a bad floating point literal lexeme may now fail, rather than
      becoming several lexemes
    * in literal strings, the \& escape may differ, especially string gaps
      are not converted to \&.
