FOSS.IN OOo Project Day

OpenOffice.org project day at FOSS.IN

The process for submitting a proposal is detailed in the FOSS.IN "<a
href="http://foss.in/2007/info/Call_for_Participation";>Call for
Participation" page.

Deadline: 08 October 2007. After this date, submissions
will not be accepted.

Theme: Building the Indian OpenOffice.org conributor community

This project day is meant to give existing developers and contributors a
platform to share their knowledge and discuss the roadmap(s) for their work
with the aim of teaching new, technically knowledgeable contributors how to
contribute to OpenOffice.org. Our goal is to expand the developer base for
OpenOffice.org in India.

The below is our proposed schedule. It includes topics that we urge abstract
proposers to consider. An abstract that focuses on macros, for instance, or the
QA process, would be greeted with interest.

Note: In accordance with FOSS.IN policy, all would-be speakers must submit
an abstract by 08 October, even those we invite. We are inviting at least one
lead developer from the core OpenOffice.org team, as well as the Sun community
manager and sotware director for OpenOffice.org. All will submit proposals.
