Kay
Ramme of Sun has created “[EMAIL PROTECTED],” an ODF
Wiki. It includes some of the capabilities I had envisioned in my
post about an OpenOffice
wiki extension, and adds some cool new ideas of Ramme’s
own.

+
Thinking about the rich editing ability of OpenOffice, and the
lightweight collaboration of a wiki, Ramme “understood that these two
approaches may be married to become an “ODF Wiki”, combing
their strengths - simple editing and simple publishing - while eliminating
their weaknesses…”

+
He jumped right into the project: “I installed an Apache
webserver, enabled WebDAV, did some (hacky) bash scripting, and got the
following.”

+
It’s a great start, and I am looking forward to what Ramme
develops next with this project.

discovered that it’s a bug of the 2.5.1 release which will be solved

simple editing and simple publishing - while eliminating their
weaknesses…”

webserver, enabled WebDAV, did some (hacky) bash scripting, and got <a

Italo Vignoli: The feed is working again

Thanks to Gianluca Diegoli (if you understand
Italian, his [mini]marketing blog
is a must read), I have discovered that the RSS feed of my blogs
wasn’t working. After a quick search on the WordPress site, I have
discovered that it’s a bug of the 2.5.1 release which will be solved
with the 2.5.2, and I have obviously found a solution to the problem. The feed
is working again, apologies for the flow of posts that you will find in your
reader.

-
The Munich LiMux migration project offers jobs. In total,
four jobs are currently open and waiting for your application. In particular,
the city of Munich searches for developers and engineers for development of the
Linux base client. OpenOffice.org is also part of the migration.<br
