Born in Compton, L.A., experiencing the hard knock life on a daily basis, the aspiring and multi talented rapper/producer Smoove is acknowledged as "The One" who will help reanimate the once dominating West Coast Hip-Hop world. Smoove, born William Kidwell, started his professional rap career as a member of Enemy Of The State (EOS), a Hip-Hip group consisting of 3 members all representing California from L.A. to the Bay. EOS released its first and only release in 2006 with the album "I Like It Like That" which was well received among Hip-Hop fans around the world. The success of EOS spawned Smoove to begin working on his own solo project, the highly anticipated album "Holla at'cha MAC", which will be released later in 2010. As a member of EOS, Smoove had gotten a lot of attention as a true lyricist and electrifying performer who can rock in front of any crowd. Smoove earned his name by being himself, from his delivery on the mic as well as his way with the ladies. Smoove loves to interact with fans of his music and he is constantly trying to improve and become a better artist at all times. Hip-Hop executives and media outlets have already drawn comparisons between West Coast heavyweight Snoop Dogg and East Coast rhymespitter Fabolous for Smooves laid back style and attitude as he simply put it: "My style is real versatile -- it's something you can bob your head to, even if you don't feel it." Smoove's first released single off of his not yet released debut album Holla atcha MAC is titled "Keep It Poppin'," which is receiving rave reviews and major radio airplay on the West Coast. His current single is titled "Do The MAC" that was just released but it's already garnering heavy attention in the clubs. This song is based on the new dance called "MAC Walk" created by Smoove and his crew Playa Lane. "MAC Walkin" is becoming the new dance craze and its popularity continues to grow. As Smoove says, "It's a swag not your regular two step, its a new step." Smoove is currently signed under the LA-based label Dolphins Of Hollywood, which is distributed by Univerisal Music Group.
