Yes build 45 is installed on the client and server (i've also been testing accessing the server from the same machine using loopback). I have used cvsservice -test. That is how I know it connects and disconnects immediately. Hopefully it will start wokring on this end soon. -----Original Message----- From: Terris [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, January 17, 2002 4:11 PM To: Stephen Townsend Subject: Re: [Cvsnt] cvsnt recv() errors on pserver I didn't have to change any registry settings. It just started working (finally). You have build 45 on client and server? You should try running "cvsservice -test" on the server. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen Townsend" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Terris" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, January 17, 2002 12:00 PM Subject: RE: [Cvsnt] cvsnt recv() errors on pserver I'm running CVS NT Service 1.11.1.3 Beta 4 (Build 45). I still am unable to use pserver. Again the symptom: immediate disconnect when using pserver, everything AOK with ntserver. Any ideas on what to start with? Are there possible registry settings that would not have been removed when I uninstalled and the version prior to Build 45's install? -----Original Message----- From: Terris [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Thursday, January 17, 2002 2:40 PM To: Stephen Townsend; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [Cvsnt] cvsnt recv() errors on pserver This problem went away with build 45. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stephen Townsend" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, January 17, 2002 5:46 AM Subject: [Cvsnt] cvsnt recv() errors on pserver Hello Mark, Did you ever resolve this? I am encounter the exact same thing. I am referring to your posts: http://www.cvsnt.org/pipermail/cvsnt/2001-October/002329.html I am wondering if there is a hidden Windows 2000 Professional Workstation setting that is causing this. I have successfully placed CVSNT on other machine (W2K Server) but not on Workstation. I know the service is running as I can connection with ntserver protocol. Problem is I have software dependent on pserver that I wish to integrate. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. -- Stephen Townsend, P.Eng.
