I came in this morning to crys of 'CVS is down' and 'HELP!', sure enuff the server was not validating logins... After a few hours of trying to track down the problem, a new guy asked me if the trial period was over... I laughed at this, because CVS for NT is freeware. I bashed the newbie and sent him on his way, well after a little more head banging, I was lost - so I set my servers date back one month.. Boom! right back on-line, no problem... there is much rejoicing in muddville until I told them that they still couldn't commit anything since the dates would be hosed. Has anyone got any idea what is happening? I have been reading thru the archives and can find no mention of any timebombs or anything.....
