I want to know how a server Authentication works with CVS.

I ought to import the modules from the server aways ? Or just change the files and
than the server administrator ought to take care of the versions?

What is the procedure ?

My autentication is now here configured:

  Authentication: ntserver
  Path: C:\CVSROOT
HostAddress: x.x.x.x (the number of my server machine)
  UserName: ezequias
  CVSROOT: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:c:\CVSROOT

the error message appears like that:
cvs -z9 import -I ! -I CVS -m "no message" ModuloTexto avendor arelease (in directory
\\Dc_gis03\ModuloTexto)

cvs import: can't specify username in CVSROOT

cvs import: when using ntserver access method

cvs [import aborted]: Bad CVSROOT.

Please help me ...
