To force the revision number to change from 1.19 to 2.0, you can use the -r option on the checkin command. This works for me, you can also specify branch revisions. cvs ci -m"bumping rev to 2.0" -f -r 2.0 filename.c To delete a revision or a range of revisions, use the -o option on the admin command.
