So you must have a different setup than I do because I cannot find a single instance of the file you refer to in my server! I am using the latest versions of CVSNT and WinCvs and I am only using the ntserver protocol on all my servers.
Maybe Tony Hoyle can shed some light on this strange problem? Where does the .perms files come from???? /Bo -----Original Message----- From: Weeks,Jerry JEW [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: den 3 maj 2002 11:06 To: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' Subject: SV: SV: [cvsgui] .perms / file permission in CVS The .perms files are in the repository, not amongst the checked out files / directories. The total amount of checked out module space is several hundred megabytes. Are you really using WinCvs on a Windows platform???? Or are you on some unixy system or maybe Mac??? /Bo On Fri, 3 May 2002 06:42:59 +0000 (UTC), "Weeks,Jerry JEW" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >The .perms file is in every directory in the module along with a .owner >file.
