Interestingly (maybe:-), I've recently started having a problem using the external diff where the diff process hangs; when I stop the hanging cvs exe (using the stop button) the diff program appears, but the last line always has 'ok' appended to it. Could this be connected to the above problem? I'm using WinCVSb7, win2000, cvsnt1.11.1.3b57e - I think it may have started happening when I changed to cvsnt 1.11.1.3 build 57d (hence the dual posting). To make matters more complicated, the problem does not always occur, but is guaranteed to occur if I try and diff against a tag/revision number/etc as opposed to the current latest version. I never posted before because I thought it might go away if I updated to winCVSb8 (I'm optimistic like that) but never got round to it! On two other W2K PCs however I get the following error message: cvs checkout -P Tull (in directory C:\) cvs checkout: warning: unrecognized response `ok ' from cvs server This is very critical since our department is depending on CVS and I am not able to make WinCVS 1.2 work either with SSH (which is the only access method we are allowed to use). I have tried reporting this as a bug in Bugzilla but can not access Bugzilla (down?). Arne ------------------------ Yahoo!
