Hello, I am trying to solve a problem with my CVS system, the problem is related to the cvs rename of a file.
I made some tests in order to understand whether I can solve the problem by manually fixing some files in the CVS repository; I have some questions. What does trigger the creation of the file .directory_history,v ? Does the cvs rename of a file trigger the creation of the file .directory_history,v ? If yes, where the .directory_history,v file will be created? In the source directory or in the target directory? Thank you for your help. Best regards.
