Please use the earlier firmware version 1.02 and your issue should be resolved.
Download the firmware 1.02 to use from http://support.dlink.com/downloads. To crash recover:
Step 1 Unplug the power from the router. Hold in the reset button and plug the power back in. Continue holding for 10 seconds and then release.
Step 2 Statically assign an IP address to your computer in the same IP subnet range: 192.168.0.x where x is any number between 2 and 254. Your Subnet Mask should be 255.255.255.0.
Step 3 Open Internet Explorer and browse to 192.168.0.1. You should see the crash recovery page. Browse to the location of the firmware on your hard-drive and click the send button.
Your router should now be stable and ready to configure.
Should you require further assistance with your D-Link products, please reply to this message, or call toll free at 877-453-5465. Thank you for networking with D-Link.

DDNS doesn't seem to be updating. Specifically, I do the following:
1 - ping my hostname (rwcitek.is-a-geek.net) and see reponses 2 - release my IP address 3 - ping my hostname and see no reponse 4 - renew my IP address which differs from before 5 - ping my hostname and see no reponse 6 - nslookup rwcitek.is-a-geek.net returns old IP
However, if I manually go to DynDNS.org, log in to my account, and update the IP, then steps 5 and 6 work just fine. The DI-514 has firmware '1.03,Tue, 20 Jul 2004'
How can I force the DI-514 to update the DDNS record, either manually or when the IP address changes?
Regards, - Robert
