After reading them they don't look too different from what I had in mind. So, I'll probably take that code and hack for my needs. Thanks for the tips, Ed.
Probably as time goes on, I'll put everything on my own server running CVS or SVN and have people check-in/check-out from that. Then whenever there is a commit have a script that updates the pages on the existing server via ftp or httpfs.
